Bloggers:
Tis the season to be jolly, to remember that the Spirit of Christmas is most felt when we are in the act of service.  The essence of "Why" for us at BeeHive homes is to do all we can do in our acts of care for our residentsto be selfless in our effort to maintain their independence.  As every great caregiver in our homes knows, our real pay is when we see the light in the eyes of our residents that screams out "thank-you."
Once there was a chicken and a pig who were in conversation of a good breakfast.  The chicken suggested that they eat eggs and bacon, the pig paused for a moment and replied, “Yours would be a contribution, mine a whole commitment.  As part of your BeeHive family we desire to be wholly committed to the cause of a quality life for our residents
The greatest of all beings to ever to walk in mortality was Jesus Christ, He whom we worship and strive the whole of our lives to try and emulate and to become like.  It is my experience that the world of Assisted Living gives us as care givers opportunity each day to lift the hands that hang down, to mourn with those who mourn, to comfort those that stand in need of comfort. It's why we at BeeHive make a difference every day; it is why we have a smile on our face and feel the joy of being in the world but not of it.  We are developing character traits like unto our Savior, we are laying up our treasures in Heaven, and we have our residents and their families allowing us to be a part of the precious lives of these great people who are at the end of their lives in this world.
This Christmas season we invite you to come, to be a part of the process of becoming like unto the Savior by rendering service to those that you love and to those that only need to be loved. Thank you you my friends.  Merry Christmas and know that we love you.
